Run Wild Racing, Inc. is a full service race management and promotions company focused on executing high-quality events. We are very flexible with our services and can do as little or as much as needed to make sure your event is executed at the highest level.

It doesn't matter to us if we are the owner of the event or the hired director because we are going to provide the same high caliber of management so your participants, spectators, volunteers and sponsors feel as though they were a part of something special and unique.

 

Pre-Race Consultation:

  • Brainstorming session
  • Discussion of logistics and basics of putting on a high quality event
  • Mission and goals of the event
  • Timelines
  • Fiscal requirements
  • Manpower requirements
  • Course design and coordination
  • Media involvement

Pre-Event Advertising & Marketing:

  • Design of race art, posters, entry forms, awards, etc.
  • Website setup and content population
  • Website marketing and online calendar population
  • Mailing to pre-existing set of runners and walkers
  • Advertising in local and national publications
  • Inclusion of your event in our calendars and e-mail newsletter “The Wild Times”
  • Entry form distribution to regional retail stores,fitness centers, etc.

Pre-Event Logistics:

  • Course certification with the USATF
  • Accept pre-race registration entry for to our P.O. Box (Database Management)
  • Setup and manage pre-race registration a week prior to the event
  • Setup and manage the t-shirt printing and production
  • Setup and manage the awards production
  • Acquire the appropriate permit with the local municipalities
  • Coordination with local authorities for required police protection and street closures
  • Coordination with local medical emergency teams about the event and scenarios
  • Secure appropriate energy replacement fluids and pure water sources
  • Setup and manage online registration for your event (Active, Signmeupsports, RWR)
  • Assist in the acquisition of the appropriate liability insurance and amounts required
  • Work with event sponsors to make sure they are fully aware of the basics for the race, their involvement, and what is required from them and when.

Race Day:

  • Safe Course Management
    1. Course setup and teardown
    2. Setup aid stations with water, energy drink, tables, cups, trash cans, etc
    3. Lay out mile markers
  • Start / Finish line setup and teardown
  • Race day registration, database management and timing system entry
  • Coordination with police, medical, volunteers, sponsors and your organization
  • Race day announcing and during race announcement of the participants
  • Overall timing of the event with our AMB Chip timing system
    1. Timing and Results using the AMB Chip Timing Technology, which is accurate, timely and accepted by the USATF as an official scoring and timing system
    2. Post results during the event with final results immediately after the last participant comes through and RWR validates the data (usually less than 15 minutes post event)
    3. Post the results online shortly after event is complete.
    4. Course splits if required (5K split on a 10K course, etc.)

Post Race:

  • Wrap up meeting
    1. Discuss what went well and what we can do to improve next year
    2. Identify any pending issues that need to be resolved before race closeout
    3. Verify all awards went to the intended winners
    4. Discuss next years event, nail down date, and setup agreement
    5. Provide list of participants (Database format or Microsoft Excel)
    6. Discuss and verify budget, bills, and income
